Human control is not a loose button at the end. A manageable workflow contains control points before, during and after the AI step.
Five checkpoints

Source and Access Control
Specify which sources the system may use, which version is leading and which user has access. A good answer from an unauthorised source remains a wrong answer.

Quality threshold
Determine when output is sufficiently sure and complete to continue. A missing field, low score or conflicting source does not activate a silent continuation but a visible exception.
- 03
Exception route
Point doubts to a role, team or queue. The employee sees the original input, the AI outcome and the reason why control is needed.

Approval moment
Results with financial, commercial, legal or human impact become final only after an explicit act by a competent person.
- 05
Logging and improvement
Keep sufficient information to investigate errors: used source, version, outcome, correction and decision. Use recurring corrections to customize rules, instructions or sources.

- What does that person see in the assessment?
- What action can this person take?
- How is the decision made?
Human monitoring is not automatically safe
An employee who receives too many notifications, sees insufficient context or usually accepts the AI outcome automatically does not constitute a reliable control point. The workload, interface and competence are therefore part of the technical design.
